How expensive is it? I don't remember because I have only had 1 driver's liscense. And I didn't have to pay for it. I didn't think they were to horribly expensive.

uh....in Cali to apply for or renew a Drivers License is 27 bucks.

Wow... I really doubt it is that much. I think we can just go renew it for like maybe 20 bucks... but I am going to check on that.

Denmark is expensive a car cost 150,000 kr wich is around 15000 dollars calculated loosely.

Yeah we pay around 50% in taxes from our salary and then we pay 25% taxes on everyhting else, food, clothes,cars and so on

a basic entry level car (Civic, Sentra, etc) car runs ya about 14,000 to 18,000 in CA give or take that is if your not looking for luxury..but i did the conversion and a driving license in Denmark runs you about 400 USD using today's currency exchange rates..thats still a lot....I guess they figure if you need one that bad you're also willing to fork over a nice chunk of cash.

As far as the taxes go...thats Nucking Futs.....

That is such a rip off, i think here in england its about 40 pounds to take the test and you get the licence if you pass, i may be wrong though.

nah we got lots of money still, and we get at the hospital and doctors free through taxes just sad to earn money and then pay half hehe, oh yeah if you earn to much you pay 65% taxes instead lol

Some time High Taxes are good.

Its the same here in Canada, out of a 600$ pay check they take 100$ off

But it does give me free acces to healt care system and many other benefit which I can't think of on hand

Wow... that sucks. Though we do get hit with taxes too. But it seems like the people making the least get hit the hardest. They don't pay as much as rich people of course but if you look at it in fraction of amount earned people making less get completed dicked over. The rich people don't have to pay near as much.

I pay about 300 bucks in taxes every paycheck and all i get is the satisfaction that the IRS wont be looking for me.
